Nadia is a university qualified accountant, registered tax agent and business owner. Nadia's career includes employment with Price Waterhouse, University of Technology and Queensland University before becoming self employed in order to devote more time to her family.

In addition to her accounting employment, while living in Scotland for a year, Nadia also worked in a country hotel and a horse riding centre.

Nadia is married to Kerry, they have three adult children, all educated on Tamborine Mountain, all now graduates of Griffith University. All the O'Carrolls have been volunteers for local emergency services.

Over the last twenty years Nadia has been a volunteer, member and office bearer in a number of local organisations and in junior sporting clubs. Nadia is a qualified water monitor with SEQ Catchments and an accredited volunteer with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.

In addition to her financial credentials and contribution as a volunteer, Nadia's interest in nature, science, active outdoor pursuits and horses give her an added appreciation of many issues in the Scenic Rim Region.

In her spare time Nadia enjoys surfing, bushwalking, kayaking, creative writing and drawing.

Nadia says: "My association with Division 2 stretches back to 1977 when my family moved here and I love the sense of community, diversity, lifestyle and natural beauty of the whole Scenic Rim, so I am passionate about its future."
